Mr. Grossner was a distinguished technology equity research analyst at several major investment dealers in Canada prior
to founding Wingate Investment Management Ltd. Murray has over 20 years of capital markets experience, primarily dedicated
to high technology, telecom and communications and media related sectors in Canada. Murray's career evolved from investment
research (analyst, portfolio strategist and research director) to investment banking (mergers and acquisitions). Murray
has served as a senior executive and director with four major Canadian investment dealers, including Richardson Greenshields
, Burns Fry, CIBC Wood Gundy and Canaccord Capital, plus - most recently, a leading international investment-banking
firm N. M. Rothschild & Sons. Murray was ranked as Canada's best technology analyst (Brendan Wood Institutional
Survey) for four consecutive years from 1991 to 1994. Murray directed two major research departments (Richardson
Greenshields and Canaccord Capital), and functioned as a chief portfolio strategist. Murray holds the Chartered
Financial Analyst designation as well as a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Toronto and a
Bachelor of Commerce in economics and finance from McGill University.
Through his investment career, Mr. Grossner provided expert commentary to government officials and was often
quoted in leading investment related publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Barrons, Forbes, Business
Week, The New York Times, The Globe and Mail, and the Financial Post.
